William A. Peithmann serves as Counsel to the firm of Mahoney, Silverman & Cross, Ltd. and consults with its members regularly as needed. He practices law with his father, Ortheldo A. Peithmann, in Farmer City, Illinois, where they concentrate in the areas of wealth management, asset protection, closely held businesses (especially, family farm operations), and gift, estate and income tax matters of all types.

A frequent contributor to legal publications on estate planning matters and lecturer at various tax and estate planning institutes, Mr. Peithmann is a past Chair of the Illinois State Bar Association’s Trusts & Estates Section, a “Leading Illinois Attorney,” a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, and is listed in both Who’s Who in American Law and The Best Lawyers in America.
