 James A. Murphy concentrates his practice in civil litigation, including commercial litigation, municipal litigation, personal injury, construction litigation and appellate practice. He has an AV rating from Martindale Hubbell.
Mr. Murphy became a member of the Illinois Bar in 1987. He is also a member of the trial bar for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and a member of the United States Appellate Court for the Seventh Circuit. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA), where he serves on the Civil Practice and Procedure Section Council. Mr. Murphy has spoken on several topics, including the following:
